To kick things off, Unbox Therapy went ahead and reviewed the prestigious Golden Saga 10 Pro Limited Edition. In his video, he compliments the phone's sleek and stylish exterior while also praising its unique and golden standard of cooling. With real gold and silver in its design, the Golden Saga turned many heads with its elite design and engineering. In terms of performance, he loved the seamless customizable shoulder triggers and Game Space menu which gives users the ultimate control over their device settings to optimize gameplay in every way.

He especially noted that the Golden Saga’s cooler included Kevlar, a heat sink, and a fan for cooling the device down for those extended gaming sessions. When the cooler was attached, he was surprised by how you could actually “feel” the heat coming off the phone as you play - removing the cooler and noting that the back of the Golden Saga 10 Pro was now “ice cold.” Even after playing PUBG for a while and the phone heating up substantially, the Golden Saga cooler immediately got to work to improve functionality and rapidly cool down the phone.

He further commended the fact that 95.3% of the phone’s entire back panel is a legitimate “huge piece of lab-grown Sapphire” that is meant to make the device extremely scratch-resistant. When reviewing the 10 Pro, TechNick tried to be as thorough as possible and chose to put the phone through a series of detailed benchmark tests against the OnePlus 13, iQOO 13, Vivo X200 Pro, and the OPPO Find X8 Pro. Seamlessly, the 10 Pro placed the highest easily beating out the competition in terms of the Geekbench 6 Multi-core Results, the 3DMARK Wild Life Extreme Scores and FPS Results, the 3DMARK Solar Bay Scores and FPS Results, and the 3DMARK Steel Nomad Light Scores and FPS Results.

Even in the comments of the video, users were showing a lot of love for the REDMAGIC 10 Pro as well. Popular YouTuber, Marques Brownlee, made a video comparing smartphones in 2024 for his award series and came to the conclusion that the REDMAGIC 10 Pro immediately won the title of “Best Battery in the Smartphone Awards 2024” He noted the extraordinary 7,050mAh battery and 100W fast charging capabilities that allow users to seamlessly go from 0 to 100 in half an hour or so.

YouTuber, Demonal, was also one of the top YouTubers reviewing the REDMAGIC 10 Pro and showcased the phone’s unique capabilities with gaming and plugins. While playing CODM, he highlighted the importance of frame rates and was impressed by the 10 Pro’s high 120 FPS which he stated gave users an advantage in most First-Person Shooter games. He also tested out PUBG on the 10 Pro and shared some useful plugins that players could use to level up their gaming. While there are several plugins available for gamers with the 10 Pro, he specifically mentioned the ability to adjust the CPU and GPU power output between Eco Balance and Rise Mode. He also recommended Rise Mode for PUBGM – but that users could also use Diablo Mode to boost the CPU and GPU power to 100%. 

Demonal also pointed out the sound equalizer plugin, which is used to adjust some specific sound effects, like the footsteps of the enemies, so you can hear them better. Another plugin mentioned is Hunting which allows you to put different filters on your screen that might allow you to see hiding enemies. The Scout plugin also gives users an extra scope to see enemies further away.

5. Simon Hill Wired Review

Another great experience with the REDMAGIC 10 Pro was seen in Simon Hill’s review on Wired. In it, he compliments the phone’s “excellent battery life, silky performance, lovely large display, and affordability. Hill called the 10 Pro an enormous mobile gaming beast that combines “impressive performance with an expansive high-quality display and enough stamina to keep you gaming for days.” He also enjoyed that the phone features a built-in fan to keep cool while also sporting programmable buttons and highly customizable gaming software.

To test its performance, Hill went on to play a mix of Diablo Immortal, 80 Days Around the World, and Asphalt 8 for several hours on the REDMAGIC 10 Pro, and found himself impressed that the phone “never broke a sweat.”   

6. AH Reader’s Choice Awards Winner

In the realm of epic moments, Android Headlines also found that REDMAGIC had made quite the impression on users as well. In 2024, the REDMAGIC 10 Pro made considerable waves with its release, and the AH Reader's Choice Awards decided to name it the Best Gaming Phone of 2024. The gaming titan swept the competition by taking 89% of the votes as the best gaming phone of the year. By comparison, the ASUS ROG Phone 9 had 8.7% of the votes, and the Realme GT 7 Pro had just 2.3% of the votes. 

7. Retro Tech Dad Gaming Review

Along the same vein of YouTuber reviews, the REDMAGIC 10 Pro also got a glowing recommendation from Retro Tech Dad. Apart from being mesmerized by the general specs of the phone, he also pushed it to its limits by playing several games. With Fortnite, he set the phone to 90 frames per second with the Epic quality preset 100% 3D resolution and high texture quality with the 10 Pro's Balanced performance preset. He noted that the phone didn’t seem to even be breaking much of a sweat, with the frame rate locked to 90 throughout the entirety of a match from start to finish.

To push the 10 Pro to the limit, he also tested out its emulation capabilities and found that the 10 Pro performs brilliantly with demanding AAA games and elevates performance with its preset modes. While playing Rogue Squadron 2, which he noted is a very difficult game to run, the 10 Pro in Balance Mode ran the game seamlessly using Dolphin emulation. Playing Viewtiful Joe - which is set to use six times the native resolution of GameCube and is the equivalent of 4K - was also a breeze for the phone and didn’t really require anything higher than the Balance preset.

He pushed the bar further and noted that with the muscle of the 8 Elite for emulation, you could seamlessly push Wii U titles beyond their native 720 or 1080p resolutions, Playing the game Fast Racing Neo, he adjusted the settings for an ultra wide resolution of 2560 x 1080 while setting the frame rate to 120 frames per second in Rise Mode. He was immediately impressed by the speed of the game and the exceptionally high frame rate achieved.

To no surprise, he was immediately impressed with the team-up and noted that the Shadow Blade 2 had been a longtime favorite of his for various devices before as well - but that it does specifically work great with a case on or off for the REDMAGIC 10 Pro.
